چکیده

Water pollution is a globally recognized serious problem that hindering human development and societal progress. One of the most feasible methods to eliminate this wastewater treatment reuse. Emerging micropollutants, such as pesticides, are notorious for not being removed using traditional methods. Therefore, novel techniques advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) have been proposed, among which photocatalytic ozonation arguably best option. Sulfoxaflor belongs relatively newer class compounds known sulfoximines has studied degradation ozonation. In work, we explore sulfoxaflor, specifically Dow product containing sulfoxaflor an active ingredient various AOPs, particularly Photocatalytic shown synergy 2.23 times compared photocatalysis alone. Fe-zeolite can improve time catalyst, reducing removal from 22 min 18 while electrical energy per order (EEO) 69.5 42.92 kWh m−3 order−1. Catalysts characterized scanning electron microscopy point zero charge. The effects initial concentration, UV intensity, catalyst dose, reuse studied. Moreover, rate constants determined curve fitting, mechanism proposed.

Titanium dioxide mediated photocatalytic degradation of malathion in aqueous phase

The photocatalytic degradation of technical grade pesticide ‘malathion’ has been studied in aqueous suspensions of TiO2. The main aim of using this process is to degrade the toxic complex structure of the pesticide to harmless products by treating the sample in the UV-reactor. The COD measurements are carried out in order to study the percentage mineralization and degradation is studied under d...

Solar Photocatalytic Degradation of Phenol in Aqueous Solutions Using Titanium Dioxide

In this study, photocatalytic degradation of phenol by titanium dioxide (TiO2) in aqueous solution was evaluated. The UV energy of solar light was utilized by compound parabolic collectors (CPCs) technology. The effect of irradiation time, initial pH, and dosage of TiO2 were investigated. Aromatic intermediates (catechol, benzoquinone, and hydroquinone) were quantified during the reaction to st...
